REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Aliquippa, Beaver County is accepting bids for the following:
REFUSE COLLECTION
All responsible parties engaged in the business of this nature may obtain a copy of the specifications and instructions to bidders by emailing Samuel.gill@aliquippapa.gov cc: kelly.callen@aliquippapa.gov or at the City of Aliquippa, 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001 Upon return, please mark as:
“PROPOSAL FOR REFUSE COLLECTION”
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of $25,000.00 as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
Proposals will be accepted at the Office of the City Administrator until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 via US Postal Service or in person at 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001. Proposals will be publicly read at the City Council meeting on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
The City of Aliquippa reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waiver all informalities, and to make such award that appears most advantageous to the City.

Request for Bids for Cleaning Services for the Administrative Offices of the City of Aliquippa
REQUEST FOR BIDS
The City of Aliquippa Administrative Office is requesting bids for cleaning services for our administrative offices beginning January 2026, 3 days per week. (Monday-Wednesday-Friday). First and Last Wednesday of every month, cleaning must be done after 10:00 pm and before 8:00 am due to City Council meetings. All current CDC guidelines must be followed. All qualified commercial cleaning services MUST be fully insured and bonded. Requests for cleaning specifications can be picked up at the City office or requested via email to Samuel.gill@aliquippapa.gov cc: kelly.callen@aliquippapa.gov

The City Council of the City of Aliquippa will consider adoption of proposed Ordinance, 2 of 2025 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at their regular City Council meeting at 7:00 PM.
“AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT”
There will be a public meeting for residents’ comments to be heard by City Council prior to the meeting on October 1, 2025, at 6:30 PM
A complete, true and correct copy of the proposed ordinance is on file at the City Building, 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA and may be examined by members of public during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
