The City of Aliquippa is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time position to work in the Public Works Department. We are seeking a candidate with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) to safely operate our municipal recycling truck and other heavy-duty city equipment.   • They cannot be discharged toward a motor vehicle or building
  • They cannot be discharged within 150 feet of an occupied structure, whether or not a person is actually present.
  • Do not light off fireworks on City Streets or alleyways
  • Be cautious in the excessive heat, fire hazards are easily started on roofs and dry patches of grass and land due to the dry days

Public Notice-Zoning Hearing Board

Please take notice that the Zoning Hearing Board of the City of Aliquippa will conduct a public hearing on 6/29/2026 at 6:30 PM at the Aliquippa City Building, 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001 on a request submitted by St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church for property situated at 2200 Irwin Street, Aliquippa Tax Parcel No. 08-046-0500.000 for a variance for handrails on the front steps of the church. IBC Section 1014.9.  Uniform Construction code

Full application is available for the public inspection during normal business hours at the Aliquippa City Building. All interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to be heard prior to the final deliberation by the Aliquippa Zoning Board.
