RECYCLING UPDATE!!

Dear Aliquippa Residents:

The recycling truck was repaired last week. It will be running on schedule the week of Monday, May 25th and they will collect recycling on the Memorial Day Holiday in order to catch up. If you have “Extra” recycling, please place it in a bag on top of your recycling can and we will collect it.

Public Notice-Zoning Hearing Board

Please take notice that the Zoning Hearing Board of the City of Aliquippa will conduct a public hearing on 6/29/2026 at 6:30 PM at the Aliquippa City Building, 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001 on a request submitted by St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church for property situated at 2200 Irwin Street, Aliquippa Tax Parcel No. 08-046-0500.000 for a variance for handrails on the front steps of the church. IBC Section 1014.9.  Uniform Construction code

Full application is available for the public inspection during normal business hours at the Aliquippa City Building. All interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to be heard prior to the final deliberation by the Aliquippa Zoning Board.

Please see the Public Notice regarding -No Recycling collection May 11th through May 15th

Attention City of Aliquippa Residents,

The City of Aliquippa Recycling Truck is out of service next week, May 11th through May 15th due to an emergency repair. We apologize for any inconvenience , and we plan to have regular collection services resume on May 26th through the 29th after the Memorial Day Holiday. Collection will be one (1) day behind due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
