4th of July holiday is approaching, please review the fireworks faqs for the safety of yourself and the Commmunity
- They cannot be ignited or discharged on public or private property without express permission of the property owner.
- They cannot be discharged from or within a motor vehicle or building
- They cannot be discharged toward a motor vehicle or building
- They cannot be discharged within 150 feet of an occupied structure, whether or not a person is actually present.
- Do not light off fireworks on City Streets or alleyways
- Be cautious in the excessive heat, fire hazards are easily started on roofs and dry patches of grass and land due to the dry days
- They cannot be discharged while the person is under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance, or another drug.FIREWORKS SAFETY

Please take notice that the Planning Board of the City of Aliquippa will meet on May 21, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Aliquippa City Building, 581 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001 to consider the following:
A request submitted by Dorsett Trucking LLC, 1216 Sheffield Avenue, Aliquippa, Pa 15001 Tax Parcel No. 08-031-0230.000 submitted a Final Land Development.
A lot consolidation application for Isaac Ciarrochi, 528/530 Main Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001 08-002-0937.00 & 08-002-0938.000
A request submitted by Tucked with Care LLC, 2349 Mill Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001, 08-049-0115.000 for conditional use for their building to be used as a nursing home. The building is in a mixed-use district.
Full applications are available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Aliquippa City Building. All interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to be heard prior to final deliberation by the Planning Commission.
