Trash and Recycling Update

Please be patient with trash and recycling service.

At this time, there are no schedule changes.

However, staffing issues can cause delays.

Our Street Department picks up recycling and we will keep you posted about recycling.

To the City of Aliquippa Taxpayers:


The Office of the Aliquippa City Treasurer is extending the Deadline Date for payment of your 2019 City of Aliquippa and Aliquippa School District Taxes to April 6, 2020.


The City Building is closed to the Public but we will be working from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Taxes can by paid by Mail, On Line or Calling us at 724-375-8320 to use your Credit Card.


Please Disregard the Reminder Letter that I have mailed out if your taxes have been paid in full.

City of Aliquippa COVID 19 Update



Dear community members: As many of you are aware, the presence of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has been reported in Pennsylvania. The City of Aliquippa is sensitive to the serious nature of the Coronavirus and is following guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in order to keep our employees, public officials, and citizens safe. The City of Aliquippa will continue to monitor updates from CDC and other government agencies as they become available.


The City of Aliquippa will continue to hold is regularly scheduled public meetings until further notice once the Governor removes the state of emergency. While public meetings are still being held, the public is encouraged to submit their comments or concerns to management in advance, in lieu of attendance. Procedures for future public meetings will be dealt with as needed, and advertised as well as posted.


While we strongly discourage citizens from visiting the municipal offices during this uncertain time. If you or someone you know plans to attend the meeting, or visit our offices, please be sure to wash your hands prior to coming to the meeting and limit physical contact with others during the meeting. More particularly, if you are ill, we ask that you do not attend public meetings or visit our office in order to prevent the potential spread of illness to others. The City of Aliquippa will post continuing updates and meeting agendas online for your convenience. Feel free to submit any general questions or comments on agenda items to Kelly Callen


In the event that the City of Aliquippa is required to hold its public meetings via remote access, we will provide further instruction to the community on when those meetings will occur and how to participate.
